VEGAN TREE CAKES.
To make a tree out of your 12 fairy cakes:

-
Mix vegan butter with icing sugar to form a smooth buttercream (see recipe above).
-
Split out two cakes worth of buttercream and set aside.
-
Add a few drops of green food colouring to your bowl of buttercream and blend until you achieve your desired colour.
-
Ice 10 of your cakes in green. These will form the leaves of your tree.
-
Add some cocoa powder to the remaining buttercream and blend until smooth.
-
Ice the remaining two cakes in buttercream icing. These will form the trunk of your tree.
-
Display the cakes on a plate in a tree-shaped design.
-
If you like, you can add critters to your tree by adding gummy worms to some of your tree cakes.
-
