With 12 years experience in not-for-profit marketing and communications, Kirsten joined the TreeSisters team in early 2022. With a love of writing and a creative eye for detail, she manages much of the organisation's content creation and copywriting.
Values-driven, she is passionate about equality, diversity, and lessening our environmental impact on the world. In her spare time, she can be found rummaging Edinburgh's secondhand record stores, listening to live music or "ranting about capitalism" with wine and friends.
Water and forests bring me back to nature. I feel most connected to my environment if I can hear the ocean or smell the woodlands. When it all feels a bit much, a long walk or outdoor yoga session brings back some balance and a sense of clarity and ease.
