Angela Mayson

I grew up playing in the harbour and mudflats in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. When I am in or near water, the bush/forest I feel a sense of calm. The scientist in me believes in the evolutionary relationship between each of us and nature. I get great joy and a sense of wonder from being with nature and feel the responsibility to look after it. From my garden and houseplants, to long rambles in the countryside, to bush walks and swimming and diving.
