Clare Bio Pic

Clare Dubois
Founder and CEO

Clare is an Earth loving social entrepreneur and inspirational speaker who worked internationally for 18 years facilitating groups, coaching business leaders and creating behaviour change processes within the personal growth sector.

As a Be The Change Symposium facilitator and freelance writer, she worked for three years as the UK co-ordinator for a massive agro-forestry initiative in southern India called Project GreenHands (PGH) before initiating TreeSisters. Through her work with PGH she has distilled the social mobilisation strategy deployed with great success in India, and now turns it towards the mobilisation of women within TreeSisters.

Clare is leading the campaign, but TreeSisters at all levels is jointly held and developed within the circle of core team members. Her passion has always included exploring how patterns of consciousness manifest as behaviours and her primary work is in the creation of processes, tools, courses, and messaging that can access the nature connected essence of woman and activate new forms of leadership. She works on network development, ethos and principles, organisational culture and strategy as they relate to the Map of 5 Choices and behaviour change materials.

She is committed to the creation of an evolving system that learns as it goes and continually models itself upon the flows and forms of living systems. In her own life, her aim is to reclaim balance, to revel in freedom and health and to be 'walking permission' for those who are fed up of being held back, and just want to have a go.

Terra SQ riverTerra Canova
Network Relations Manager

Terra has always been passionate about the Earth both in celebrating it's beauty as well as actively working to heal the planet and treasure it's many unique species including plants, minerals and animals.

From her years as a nature photographer specializing in landscapes to her current handcrafting of gemstone pendants, she has strived to showcase the beauty of nature in all she creates. She took an active part in a large invasive plant removal project then headed by Marc Imlay, PhD of the Anacostia Watershed Society and focused on one of the last biologically diverse rivers that was a tributary to the Anacostia River. Her passion for that park extended and she became the leader of a local watershed group that not only continued to remove invasives but also focused on trash removal, riverbank erosion, water quality, public education and tree planting.

At TreeSisters, Terra is the Network Relations and Service Manager. Network Relations is the in breath and out breath of the communications between the staff and all those who are treesisters or are supporting our mission in other ways. Her place here has become a soul purpose and she wants to help other women find their connection to nature in the way that TreeSisters has helped her deepen her own.

LaurianeLauriane Cayet-Boisrobert
Reforestation Director

Lauriane came to TreeSisters with an expertise in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, as powerful tools to develop new insights and recommendations for better governance of the forests. She has conducted several research projects such as assessing forest degradation and analyzing the protection status of the world's forests. She has over 10 years of experience working for international think-tanks and non-profit organizations, as well as consulting.

She joined TreeSisters feeling that solving the environmental challenges would need more than sound studies and smart mechanisms. It also needs a more connected, intuitive and creative approach for leading the changes it takes to protect the last intact forests, re-instate a more sustainable forest cover, and serve our planet.

To serve TreeSisters, Lauriane has chosen to develop and manage its reforestation projects portfolio, as well as bring the best knowledge in forest ecology and reforestation. She started by co-developing TreeSisters' forest strategy and project selection process.

Lauriane is passionate about the many cultures on Earth. She tries to live in harmony with the Earth; so the Earth must stay wild and generous too us all. She feels deeply sad when the Earth is been abused at all prices, and mostly at the expenses of the people who rely on it.
