Thank you for understanding that TreeSisters is not a man bashing initiative in any way, and for recognizing that women are in a process of healing and empowerment, much of which we need to do in the absence of men. The repression of the feminine principle in both men and women has enabled us to dominate life to the extent that life itself is threatened. We all see the symptoms of the imbalance, but we need to go to its root if anything is to change, and we believe the root lies with Woman. Rebalancing this planet cannot be done by men alone. The imbalanced consciousness and behaviour that has blinded us to our planet's fragile cycles needs a deep and profound shift towards listening, tending, loving, allowing, supporting, protecting and nurturing. Women, and the innate tendencies that are the embodied feminine are needed in a huge way, and yes they are also embodied and needed within the men, but we have to remember what it even means to be women, and rediscover what the feminine actually is.
So how can you help
You can tell every woman you know about TreeSisters. You can forward films, join us on Facebook and share posts, blog about us, help us raise funds, plant trees, connect us to men or women of influence, share photographs, offer your skills, volunteer and donate monthly.
You could gather all the women you know and hold a fundraiser, a film night or an awareness raising evening; be wildly creative, audacious and in service to the Feminine in ways that might astonish both you and the women you know, while making sense of a whole side of your masculine self that longs to celebrate ‘Her’.
You could make a deeper choice to simply believe in women more, to live in ways that encourage them to believe in themselves, to hold the space for their creativity and courage to come forward while finding more ways to live in respect and protection of both women and Nature. There are so many ways that you can support what we’re doing and embody the energy of TreeSisters as a man.
We call the men who support TreeSisters ‘Guardians’ because it is fitting for those holding the space for the rise of the feminine and standing at the temple door. The name speaks to your love of this planet and the protective instinct that resonates with the vision of the re-robed, tree-robed world. We are holding the space for you, for the men who resonate with this, to step forward, take your place and show us what that is. Whatever that is, it needs to arise from your heart and nourish you.
