What’s unfolding is of such magnitude however, that it is an imperative that we build the sisterhood in order to generate the collective strength needed to actually face and feel what’s happening so that we can surface the consciousness needed to know how best to respond. We cannot do this alone, but we can accomplish anything together

The name ‘TreeSisters’ seems to touch a knowing within women, and in men, that it’s time for something. It seems to fit, like the answer to a question that you didn’t know had been asked, until it was answered.To us, TreeSisters is an open book of possibilities and permission; a seed that you can plant in your heart, a living key that could unlock so many parts of you. What TreeSisters is, ultimately, is what it becomes through you. Life is calling. How that call is received by each of us and how we answer will differ, but answer we must.

What does that mean? It means that TreeSisters has to be much more than a small team of women trying to figure out how to reforest the world. This is an invitation to all of us to look inside and acknowledge whatever it is that is asking to happen through us, and to let it come. It means that women everywhere need to pick this up, try it on, walk around inside it and feel into what it’s asking of them that brings them closer to their gifts and passions. It means starting something...anything that is an expression of your skills, your love of life and of the natural world....and then sharing it, so that your experience can inspire others.

TreeSisters ‘is’ the potential and expression of the network that we co-create. It is the sum of all our ideas, experiments, experiences, creativity, joy and willingness to try.

What works for you? What breaks through and touches you? It is likely to get through and touch others, so share it and create something that springs from that knowing.

Our team will facilitate, invite, integrate feedback, trial ideas, synthesize, monitor, tend and nurture the growing network. We will learn, adapt, grow, spread, inspire, trial some more...we will hold the vision and stay true to our guiding principles. But we are nothing without you!

What is a TreeSister?

• She is a woman who wants to live in a healthy sustainable world that values life over money and that makes sense to her heart...
• She is a woman that recognizes the strength of women, who longs for deeper connection with herself, other women, the natural world and with the sacred feminine within..
• She is a nature lover, an animal lover, a tree lover, or simply a lover of clean air, normal weather and seasons that do what you expect!
• She is a woman who longs to bring her gifts more fully into life and pitch them towards something meaningful...
• She wants to take action, she's ready to do what's needed to get back in sync with nature
• She is a woman who is sick of playing small, or of suppressing herself in anyway so that others feel comfortable around her...
• .She is a woman who wants to know what to say when her children ask her about climate change
• She wants to know what she can do to make a difference and how to do it with other women just like her
• She could be radical or conservative, a story teller or a CEO, a nine year old girl or a grandmother, an engineer or a gardener
• She is you, me, the girl next door, your Mother, your boss, your best friends daughter
• She is every women that struggles to believe in herself, and every women that does

Latent TreeSisters are everywhere! A vast network of women is only a few choices andactions away. Are we ready yet? Well, the next web site will help enormously, but while it’s being built, we can still spread the word and start to explore what might be ours to do. We need to build something with passion, energy and vibrancy that every woman wants to be involved in because it makes sense to her, it serves and nourishes her and it makes shifting towards sustainability easier for her.

So, how do we reach these women? Well, we know them. Between us, we will be connected to every sort of women, and through every sort of women we can start to understand what they need to feel part of something. You are our eyes and ears out there where TreeSisters hasn’t been heard of yet. Will you share? Will you question? Will you find out what draws, what the women around you need to feel involved and what would make them hesitate or stay away? Will you share what you love, what lights you up, and what you would want to be involved in, and please will you feed this back to us?

Many women are asking us, ‘what can I do’, and this, above, is a very important part ofwhat every TreeSister can do; find ways of gathering women or taking to women, sharing, inviting and exploring the responses that you get and feeding them back to us so that we can learn. You can also see who around you would want to get involved in doing something together, so that you can explore what might be fun to do together that works towards the cause and has you feel more like the TreeSister that you are!

with us, create art together, research tree groups, build a Mother bed and fill it with acorns, donate to trees every month, change your car to processed chip fat, keep bees, write poetry, join a tantra group, learn permaculture, eat raw, sell cakes, start dancing...anything that brings you closer to yourself, to nature and feels like a contribution to the shift forward.
